Conducted a Diagnosis of Caribbean Private Sector Organizations and their Trade related Services for the Inter-American Development Bank and the Caribbean Association of Industry and Commerce (CAIC).
Our tasks included:
- Conducting of a survey of private sector entities, mainly in the small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) sub-sector, in the Caribbean,
- Preparing a draft report on the results of the diagnosis of private sector organizations in the region (both publicly and privately financed, and regional and national), and a set of policy recommendations outlining ways to strengthen national and regional activities aimed at promoting private sector trade-related interests,
- Meeting with regional private sector organizations, such as Chambers of Commerce, Small Business Associations, Private Enterprises, and
- Preparing a final report that informed the design of future IADB-funded programmes aimed at strengthening the capacity of Caribbean Private Sector Organizations (PSOs) to deliver trade-related services to their members.
